CREANEY PRIMARY SCHOOL
The sounds of instruments being played, voices singing, and various styles of music echo through the school grounds, as students from Year 1 to Year 6 enjoy their weekly music lesson under the guidance of a Specialist Music teacher. Students are introduced to the art of responding to music of varying genres, and build on foundation skills to create musical masterpieces of their own.

The classroom program is further supported by our Instrumental Program, offering select Year 5 and 6 students the unique opportunity for group music lessons on flute, clarinet, trumpet and trombone. These students have a weekly lesson, with their talents being showcased in numerous class performances throughout the year, culminating in performances throughout the year.

Visiting artists from around the country are invited to perform for our students, with the students delighting in past performances from Perform Entertainment and local bands from Woodvale and Greenwood Colleges.

Creaney Primary School is represented in the wider community through student involvement in events such as Music: Count Us In program, where they share the experience of singing and music making with thousands of students from not only around the state, but also around the country.
