Physical Education is a vital part of your child’s development.  Our program at Creaney lays the foundation for students to live an active and healthy lifestyle.  Across the year, students participate in swimming lessons, athletics and various other team and individual sports, working to improve muscular strength, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance and coordination. In the Early Years, a strong focus on Fundamental Movement Skills sets students up for safe, successful and satisfying participation in physical activity.

We utilise many professional coaches to deliver clinics including; Modcrosse, AFL, Touch Rugby, Volleyball and Soccer.  We have also worked alongside Kingsley Junior Football Club to establish a Girls team to participate in the 2017 Dockers Cup, run by the Subiaco Lions District.

Students learn how to demonstrate sportsmanship during their Physical Education lessons and inter-school competitions. They develop student leadership through working closely with staff and their peers to lead the school in sport events, such as our Athletics carnivals- both within school and interschool.

Our Physical Education program helps support our ‘Caring’ school culture that is driven by Community, Achievement, Respect and Excellence.
