Curriculum

“The early years are critical times for creating conditions where children are most likely to be prepared for successful school experiences as well as for building the foundations for lifelong learning.”
(West Australian Primary Principals’ Association 2008)

 Our Programs

Early childhood programs at Creaney Primary School cater for children’s varied learning styles and offer many IMGP0026opportunities for students to participate in a range of ‘hands on’ learning experiences.  Our teachers plan activities that encourage children to engage in small group work, collaborative partnerships across classes and year levels as well as whole class learning experiences.  Although individual classroom teachers present learning experiences differently, they do plan collaboratively, engage in moderation activities and work towards the same outcomes from the Australian Curriculum http://www.australiancurriculum.edu.au/ and Early Years Learning Framework http://education.gov.au/early-years-learning-framework
