Code Crackers is a great little lunchtime program where our student leaders run a ‘code cracking’ workshop with a select few students from Junior Primary; teaching them how to use our coding programs and basic iPad skills.
The student volunteers set up in the Library and work with Year 1 students to teach and develop their skills in Digital Technology. This could be from using Edison robots, Spheros, Coding apps, creating stop motion animations, and even using a green screen.
Students are chosen on a rotational basis to come along to the sessions and try their skills out in coding.
This has been a trial program for 2017 and has been well received with many students continuing to come on a regular basis during their lunchtimes on a Friday.
